Dopper

February 4, 2021

Like every relationship, your Dopper sometimes needs some TLC. Read the golden tips for a happily ever after here!

Instructions

  • Before using your Dopper for the first time, briefly rinse it out in warm water (but no hotter than 65 degrees).
  • Just like you, the Dopper cannot withstand temperatures lower than -10 and higher than 65 degrees.
  • The Dopper cannot be put in the freezer or microwave.
  • Not using your Dopper for a while? Store it without the cup and cap on the bottle, as bacteria love enclosed spaces but you are probably not fond of bacteria.
  • To prevent a swimming pool in your bag, make sure the threads of the cup are dry when you have filled the Dopper with water, or fill the Dopper through the small opening at the top.
  • Do not twist the cap too tightly. Once your cap is twisted, it is impossible to tame it.
  • Dopper is a sustainable bottle for tap water. Do you drink soft drinks, fruit juice and wine as water? Then don't drink it from your Dopper. Other drinks can damage it permanently, so use at your own risk. Watch this video on what drinks you can drink from your Dopper.

Cleaning

  • The Dopper is a product of this century and can therefore be washed in the dishwasher (up to 65 degrees). Place all parts separately in the machine, but not too close to that pan of decomposing pasta sauce, as they may become discoloured.
  • Put the Dopper (sports) cap preferably in the cutlery rack, to prevent it from wandering around.
  • Achtung: the stainless steel Dopper can be steaming hot after it has been in the dishwasher and/or warm dishwater.
  • Do not use abrasives, solvents, bleach and/or other chemical cleaners to clean your Dopper products. These can leave a chemical taste, ieehhl.
  • Do you want to use brute force to get rid of any remnants of taste and smell? Soak the Dopper parts in (baking) soda and rinse them with (natural) vinegar.
  • Never boil the Dopper; temperatures above 65 degrees can cause it to deform or even worse, leak.
Does your Dopper smell like grandma's attic? Fill the bottle (the coloured bottom part) with hot water and leave it for at least 30 minutes.
